Jade Cargill's WWE future has been up in the air following a mysterious backstage assault on SmackDown last night. Naomi, who's a two-time Women's Champion and a Tag Team Champion, has been accused by many of being the mastermind behind the attack. She has now responded to the accusation.

On this week's episode of SmackDown, Cargill was found lying unconscious on the bonnet and windshield of a car. The incident happened during a Triple Threat match between Chelsea Green, Bianca Belair, and Blair Davenport as part of the Women’s United States Championship Tournament.

Jade Cargill was stretchered out of the arena and taken to a medical facility. Big Jade's tag team partner, Bianca Belair, accompanied her in the ambulance. WWE later announced that the former AEW star was diagnosed with deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, a bruised kidney, a sprained MCL in her right knee, a tibial plateau bone bruise of her right knee, and facial lacerations.

Many fans have since held Naomi responsible for attacking one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions. The Glow took to her official X/Twitter handle to set the record straight, asking fans to apologize when she would be cleared of the accusations.

"And when my name is cleared I expect my timeline to be flooded with apologies from accusers bc I DID NOT try to end my sis!"

Check out her response below.

What's next for WWE Superstar Jade Cargill?

Jade Cargill will miss the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event on November 30. WWE named her replacement in the Women's WarGames match during SmackDown tapings for next week's show.

Cargill has also been pulled from the ongoing Women's United States Championship Tournament. She was scheduled to face Michin and Piper Niven in a Triple Threat match on the go-home episode of SmackDown before Survivor Series.

Big Jade's replacement was announced during the SmackDown tapings for next Friday. Recent reports have suggested that Jade Cargill was dealing with a legitimate injury, which prompted WWE to write her off TV for the foreseeable future. Will Cargill and Belair be forced to vacate their Women's Tag Team Title? Only time will tell.
