WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker shared the locker room with superstars for nearly three decades. Recently, Konnan stated that The Deadman's retirement from in-ring competition made Rey Mysterio the new locker room leader in the Stamford-based promotion.
The Undertaker was the locker room leader for years and kept superstars in check whenever needed. However, The Phenom retired from in-ring competition in 2020 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in the coming years. After the veteran left, Konnan thinks Rey Mysterio got the spot.
Speaking on K100 with Konnan and Disco Inferno, the two veterans discussed The New Day's segment with Rey Mysterio and the Latino World Order. During that, Konnan stated that the three-time WWE World Champion got the significant role of locker room leader after The Deadman retired from in-ring competition.
"He's [Rey Mysterio] like a locker room leader. I bet you since The Undertaker left, maybe Rey is the locker room leader now. Yeah," Konnan said. [From 18:00 - 18:15]

WWE veteran disagrees with The Undertaker's recent statement
The Undertaker is familiar with today's products and characters as he keenly watches the new generations. Recently, he stated Cody Rhodes would be a better heel in the Stamford-based promotion if and when he decides to turn.
Speaking on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the former WWE manager disagreed with The Deadman's opinion and stated The American Nightmare could turn heel for only one feud as he's making more money as a face.
"I don't see him as a heel. I really don't, because if you watch Cody [Rhodes] go into the ring, he's always shaking the hands of all those kids. It's hard to take a guy like that and make him a wholesale heel because it doesn't work. Plus, we gotta throw the merchandise in there. He's the number one merchandise seller, and he and they're not going to jeopardize that just for the sake of selling a few tickets and a few pay-per-views," Mantell said.
The American Nightmare is currently involved in one of the most heated feuds of his career against Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
