30-year-old star WWE "stole" from AEW wins debut bout

WWE star Brian Pillman Jr. recently made his in-ring debut during the night one of NXT special 'Halloween Havoc'.

The former AEW star jumped ship to WWE few months back, when he signed with the Stamford-based company. Pillman Jr. has since been featured on NXT television as 'Lexis King'.

The son of the wrestling legend, Brian Pillman made his in-ring debut with the company during the latest episode of NXT, when he faced Dante Chen in singles competition. The bout began with some mat grappling, but King remained in control. After some back and forth action, he hit Chen with a draping, spinning neckbreaker, following a superkick, to secure the win on his debut. After the bout, he looked at the cameras and said, "My way, my life".

WWE's latest signing from AEW has generated widespread interest from the fans. Many believe that this was the right decision for Pillman Jr., and are excited to see how he fares in NXT.
