A WWE star has been released, and now another name has asked him if his message means that he's retiring once and for all. This comes after the company has released three WWE stars.
Baron Corbin sent a post bidding farewell to fans, seemingly teasing a retirement. It was later reported that Corbin, along with Tegan Nox and Indi Hartwell, had been released from the company. Now, Lexis King has reacted.
King reposted the tweet and said that he was not sure if Baron Corbin was taking a hiatus or if he was retiring for good, but if that was what was happening, then he said it was an honor for him to have learned from the star and be his last NXT opponent.
The star last faced him on NXT, and it was the star's final feud before he was brought up to WWE SmackDown to team with Apollo Crews.
"Idk if this means you are taking a hiatus or hanging up the boots for good, but if that’s the case then it was an honor and a privilege to learn from you and to be your last opponent 👑," he wrote.
It remains to be seen if the star is going on hiatus or retiring or if he will return to wrestling for a different promotion.
