WWE SmackDown was filled with surprises as both a major return and debut transpired after Clash at the Castle in Scotland. Meanwhile, former Bump host and backstage interviewer Kayla Braxton announced her exit from the Stamford-based promotion following the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Kayla Braxton started her journey at the Stamford-based promotion nearly eight years ago when she appeared on the developmental brand. Braxton was primarily used on WWE's social platform, as she appeared on pre-show panels and hosted The Bump for several years.

Later, she became an on-screen personality and conducted backstage interviews on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Today, she shocked many with some unfortunate news as she announced her exit from the Stamford-based promotion after nearly an eight-year run with the company.

"🥹🥰🙏🏽 THANK YOU @WWE. I 🫶🏽 U 4 EVA !!!"

In her post, she credited several stars, such as Paul Heyman, Triple H, and Michael Cole, to name a few, for her growth in the industry and as an on-screen performer. She also revealed her final appearance for the company will take place at the end of the month.

Kayla Braxton's final appearance will take place at next week's WWE SmackDown

Last year, Megan Morant replaced Kayla Braxton as The Bump's host. The 33-year-old star was a regular on the YouTube show and spent years honing her skills as an interviewer.

Kayla Braxton was primarily seen on Friday Night SmackDown interviewing superstars in the back before their matches or segments. The 33-year-old was also seen on the recent episode of the blue brand.

During SmackDown, she was seen interviewing Grayson Waller ahead of his Money in the Bank qualifier. Later, DIY interrupted Waller and accused him of sacrificing Austin Theory during last week's attack.

Later, the interview abruptly ended when Drew McIntyre carried CM Punk's lifeless body. More interviews from Braxton will be released later today, as she often interviews stars on SmackDown LowDown. The 33-year-old's final appearance will take place next week at SmackDown in the famous MSG arena.

We at Sportskeeda Wrestling wish Kayla Braxton the best of luck in all her future endeavors.
