34-year-old newly added WWE NXT star makes bold statement amidst recent deveolopment

A newly added WWE NXT star just made a bold statement. He demanded some changes from the General Manager.

Ethan Page made his shocking debut a couple of weeks ago and even challenged for the NXT Championship at Battleground. However, he came up short in the match. The 34-year-old got another chance to become the number one contender last week by participating in a battle royale. While Oro Mensah attacked him, All Ego was never eliminated from the match. After Je'Von Evans won the battle royale, Page challenged him to a match later in the night and won.

Tonight on WWE NXT, Ethan Page came out to the ring and claimed that the main event of Heatwave should be changed and he should be added to the title match instead of Je'Von Evans. The former AEW star asked Ava to come out and make the change.

The NXT General Manager stated that she didn't like being backed into a corner. Shawn Spears interrupted them and said that he beat Je'Von the week before, and after he beats Trick Williams tonight, Ava will see that he should challenge for the WWE NXT Championship.

Trick Williams came out and said that he didn't care who his opponent was. Spears blindsided him, and Ethan Page attacked him. Je'Von Evans came out and helped Williams clear the ring.

Based on what happened tonight, the competition for the NXT Championship is heating up ahead of Heatwave.
