WWE put out a vignette on SmackDown revealing plans for the return of a 34-year-old star after four months away. In an exciting direction, the superstar is having a huge character change.

Giovanni Vinci was once referred to as WWE's pound-for-pound strongest man. Although people who only watched him on the main roster know him as a silent brute, his NXT character was the complete opposite, showcasing him as a brash, cocky man who to many, had "superstar" written all over him.

It seems like WWE is reverting Giovanni Vinci to his old character in NXT as a vignette showed him skiing and then appearing in a fancy car and suit to announce his arrival.

The best part of it was the entire promo was in Italian, his native language:

There was a lot of speculation on whether we would ever see Giovanni Vinci again after he was taken out of Imperium in late April this year. He was drafted to SmackDown but nothing was heard of him or about the plans for him.

It's going to be a fresh start for the Italian on SmackDown and fans can't wait to see what WWE has planned. It remains to be seen when the star will return to television.
