Ludwig Kaiser has been by Gunther's side since he arrived in WWE. Hence, he has taken exception to Sami Zayn challenging the Ring General for the World Heavyweight Championship despite being denied a match.
Tonight on RAW, Sami again campaigned for a world title match, only for Kaiser to come out and deny him. After Sami tried to drive a wedge between Kaiser and the Ring General, Gunther came to the ring. As a result, Kaiser attacked Zayn.

However, this plan soon backfired as Zayn took Kaiser out with a Helluva Kick. Later in the show, Cathy Kelley interviewed a visibly frustrated Ludwig. The 34-year-old mentioned that he spoke to Adam Pearce and will face Sami next week on RAW. He also promised to "expose" the former Intercontinental Champion.
Ludwig Kaiser explained how Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn betray each other at every opportunity. Kaiser concluded the interview by saying Sami will never be a world champion.

It remains to be seen if Sami will eventually get his World Heavyweight Championship match against The Ring General.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker.
