Triple H has brought back quite a few names to WWE since taking over in 2022, with many of them going on to do very well for themselves. Another former superstar wants The Game to re-sign her to the Stamford-based company after getting released eight years ago.
It happens to be none other than the former tag team partner of current WWE Superstar Naomi. The Glow is looking to become Ms. Money in the Bank this year and earn an accomplishment she never has had in her career. Her former tag team partner, Cameron, real name Ariane Andrew, was released by WWE eight years ago.
It seems like the wrestling bug never left Ariane, who wants to be back on the biggest stage again after eight years. In a tweet reminiscing a moment with Naomi, she requested Triple H to sign her back to WWE:
Whether the 36-year-old will be re-signed by The Game remains to be seen.
Dutch Mantell thinks Triple H and WWE were able to overlook Naomi's walkout easier than Sasha Banks
It is almost been forgotten that Naomi walked out of WWE in 2022 along with Sasha Banks, now known as Mercedes Mone. For The Boss, she signed a lucrative deal with AEW and is already the TBS Champion in the Tony Khan-led promotion.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk podcast, Dutch Mantell mentioned that WWE and Triple H likely found it easier to overlook Naomi's walk-out in 2022 due to her Bloodline connections:
"Well, Naomi! But Naomi has connections, and she can probably do that. And they all blame Sasha, I'm sure, because she walked out with her. But I think Naomi, with the Bloodline and all that, they overlook that. That's just doing business the best way you can," Dutch Mantell said. [From 39:16 onwards]
The logic here seems to be that Sasha Banks would have been "rewarded" for walking out. Naomi would then embark on a very impactful run with TNA Wrestling, becoming the Knockouts World Champion before dropping the title and re-signing with WWE.
