This week’s episode of WWE RAW saw a 36-year-old superstar make a shocking return after an unexpected break. The heavyweight took out Braun Strowman with what seemed like a new move, driving him through the announce table. The man in question is none other than Bronson Reed.
The Monster Among Men was poised to win the Fatal Four-Way match to become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. However, ‘Big’ Bronson Reed came flying through the timekeeper’s area, hitting Strowman with a Tsunami. This cost the former Black Sheep the match, which was won by Jey Uso.
WWE uploaded a clip of The Aussie’s airborne attack on The Monster of All Monsters and appreciated the lighting-fast Tsunami on X. Responding to this, Reed said that he didn’t use a Tsunami on Strowman, but a whole different move to take out the former Universal Champion.
“More like a tidal wave ... but I cleaned that MFer up!”
The Monster Among Men was already fighting with injured ribs due to Reed’s Tsunami on top of a car two weeks ago. But now, it is unclear if Strowman will be able to gain medical clearance next week. Interestingly, Bronson Reed had already sent a warning about his reckless attack ahead of WWE RAW.
Bronson Reed’s warning while he was removed from WWE RAW
‘Big’ Bronson Reed was removed from television last week after he tested positive for COVID-19. This resulted in an empty slot in the Triple Threat match for round one of the number one contender’s tournament. As Braun Strowman showed up to fill the spot and won the match, the Australian superstar sent an ominous warning while recovering.
“Soon …”
On RAW, the 36-year-old simply delivered on his promise and took out his unplanned replacement with a Tidal Wave. Bronson Reed has been terrorizing the superstars on Monday Night RAW for several weeks now. Moreover, The Miz is even considering joining Karrion Kross’ Final Testament due to Reed’s actions.
With this, Bronson Reed has added more fuel to his feud with the former WWE Universal Champion. It would be interesting to see when and how Strowman responds to the costly attack by The Aussie.
