A lot of formerly released stars have made their return to WWE under the new regime. The list could grow bigger as a 39-year-old star has teased returning to the company through a post on social media.
CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, was part of the Stamford-based promotion for nearly eight years. She joined the company in 2013 and was assigned the role of Rusev's (aka Miro) manager. The 39-year-old also competed in several matches during her time with the global juggernaut. She was released from her contract in 2021.
While Perry joined AEW in 2023, she did not spend much time in the promotion and is now a free agent. She has teased returning to WWE through her latest post on Instagram, asking fans whether she should make her return when RAW moves to Netflix.

Current WWE champion recently talked about working with CJ Perry
CJ Perry was involved in a controversial storyline during her time with the global juggernaut. The 39-year-old was part of a love triangle involving Bobby Lashley and Liv Morgan, with Morgan claiming to be the female star's lover.
The Women's World Champion recently recalled the controversial angle, mentioning that objecting at Lana and Lashley's wedding is one of her top five moments in the company.
"I'm also proud of my wedding objection," Morgan began with a laugh. "Growing up, watching WWE, I loved the weddings. I loved the WWE weddings. Who does not love that? So, to be a part of one—never thought I'd ever be a part of one—and to object in the manner that I did, that's definitely in my top five moments, just because of how insane it was," she said.
CJ Perry and Liv Morgan are real-life best friends. The duo even started living together several months back. While Morgan is currently on the best run of her life, Perry has majorly stayed off the wrestling radar since leaving the global juggernaut, bar her brief AEW stint.
