A retired WWE Superstar apparently enjoys his current role in the company a lot, as evidenced by his recent comments.
The retired superstar in question is Corey Graves, who currently works as a commentator on SmackDown. Before this role, he used to perform inside the squared circle as a wrestler in NXT. However, an injury in the form of a concussion led to his retirement from in-ring work in 2014, after which he transitioned to a pre-show panelist and later took on a commentary role in 2016.
In a recent interview with Sportskeeda's Bill Apter, Corey Graves explained why he was still very vested in work in WWE.
"When it comes to WWE, nobody that you see on television has more fun than I do. I get to be around this business that I have always wanted to be a part of. And I get to watch wrestling, and I get to laugh, I get to make fun of people. It’s, really it’s a dream job," said Graves. [From 0:43 onwards]

WWE veteran believes Corey Graves is boring
While Corey Graves has been a commentator on SmackDown for a significant period of time, former on-screen manager Dutch Mantell does not seem very taken with his work.
Speaking on an episode of Smack Talk, the veteran stated that Kevin Owens' was a refreshing change in the commentary box when he was brought in a few weeks ago.
"That's an upgrade to take Corey Graves away from that table. He's the most... I don't wanna say anything bad about him, but he's just boring. At least Kevin Owens said something tonight that was relevant. I mean, Corey Graves doesn't ever say anything," said Mantell. [From 11:00 - 11:25]
It remains to be seen how Corey Graves progresses in his career at the Stamford-based promotion.
