Wrestling veteran Bin Hamin believes that a former United States Champion will return to WWE next January as a surprise entrant in the Men's Royal Rumble match.
The name in question is Matt Cardona (AKA Zack Ryder). Cardona joined the Stamford-based company in 2006. He spent nearly 14 years as an active competitor, during which time he held the Intercontinental Championship, the United States Title, and the RAW Tag Team Championships. However, he was released from his contract in April 2020. The 38-year-old has been active on the independent circuit since, establishing himself as The Indie God.
Speaking on the Monday Locker Room podcast, Bin Hamin claimed Cardona will return to WWE as a surprise entrant in the upcoming Men's Royal Rumble match next year.

While Matt Cardona continues to wrestle on the independent circuit, his wife, Chelsea Green, returned to the Stamford-based company earlier this year as a surprise entrant in the Women's Royal Rumble match.
