Wrestling veteran Konnan believes LA Knight could win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship or the World Heavyweight Title.
The 40-year-old superstar made his main roster debut in May 2022 as Max Dupri, the leader of Maximum Male Models. However, he later dropped the gimmick and returned to his previous persona as LA Knight. Since then, Knight has had one major feud with Bray Wyatt.
Speaking on Keepin' It 100, Konnan addressed the possibility of Knight winning a world title despite his age.
"I don't know why you would have a guy, when it's so hard to get people over, that is over and you haven't even pushed him and there's so many great things you can do to make money with him, why you wouldn't take advantage of him and try to take his knees out because I don't think that's the mentality there anymore. And I could see him as Universal Champion and if they gave him a proper push like we've seen them do when they want to, why not World Champ?" he said. [2:21 to 2:54]

Former WWE writer on LA Knight winning the World Heavyweight Championship
A few weeks ago, Triple H introduced a new World Heavyweight Championship on Monday Night RAW. A tournament was later held on RAW and SmackDown to determine the first winner of the new title. While Seth Rollins advanced to the final from RAW, AJ Styles reached the same from SmackDown. The two superstars will now square off for the championship on May 27 at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. recently discussed seeing LA Knight win the World Heavyweight Title somewhere down the line. On his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, he stated that it would look "sexy" on the 40-year-old.
"That would be a sexy belt on LA Knight," Freddie Prinze Jr. said.
A wrestling veteran was not impressed by LA Knight's appearance on WWE SmackDown this week. Check out his comments here.
