A top WWE Superstar recently captured his first championship outside of the Stamford-based promotion. This marks a significant milestone in Omos' career.
Four years ago, The Nigerian Giant and his former ally AJ Styles defeated The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Wood to win the RAW Tag Team Championship. However, they lost the titles to Randy Orton and Matt Riddle at SummerSlam on August 8, 2021.
As part of a working relationship between WWE and Pro Wrestling NOAH, Omos made his in-ring debut in the Japanese promotion on January 1, 2025. The 416-pound star teamed with Jack Morris to defeat Takashi Sugiura and Naomichi Marufuji, capturing the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.
Omos broke his silence on Instagram following his GHC Tag Team Championship victory. The 30-year-old star highlighted the difference between astonishment and accomplishment, asserting his superiority with the phrase "Supa Mega Weight."
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
"THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ASTONISHMENTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS. SUPA MEGA WEIGHT!" he wrote.

WWE star Omos joins major faction in Pro Wrestling NOAH
The 30-year-old star was not affiliated with any faction within the Stamford-based promotion. A few months ago, MVP revealed that Omos' name was pitched to join Bobby Lashley's stable, The Hurt Business if the group were to reunite on WWE television. However, this did not come to fruition.
As previously mentioned, The Nigerian Giant teamed up with Morris in NOAH. For those unfamiliar, Jack Morris is a member of the Team 2000X faction. During a recent press conference, it was announced that the former RAW Tag Team Champion is the newest addition to the group.
Omos has yet to win a singles championship in his professional wrestling career. However, the 416-pound WWE star is currently in his second reign as a tag champion, having achieved this with two different promotions.
It will be exciting to see if The Nigerian Giant can potentially capture a singles title in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
