A WWE veteran has taken to social media to send a special birthday message to Rey Mysterio. Natalya recalled how the Hall of Famer helped her out and shared a photo of them together.
The Master of the 619 turned 50 on December 11 this week. His son Dominik Mysterio is already one of WWE's top stars. The multi-time world champion has been part of the wrestling business for many years, and he's regarded by many as one of the greatest of all time. Many young wrestling fans view him as a hero and role model.
Natalya recently posted on X reflecting on how Rey Mysterio helped her out in Saudi Arabia when he offered her his sweatshirt so she wouldn't get cold. The 42-year-old wished him a happy birthday, and the photo was attached to the tweet.
"This photo was taken from our last trip to Saudi Arabia. We were all headed to an event that was outside and the temperature had dropped. Rey offered me his sweatshirt to wear so I wasn’t cold. He’s the kind of person that will give you the shirt off his back. Happy birthday Rey Mysterio! Truly the GREATEST," she wrote.

The two WWE veterans have shared the ring multiple times, and they always entertained the fans in the ring. Their first televised bout took place at SummerSlam 2002, which The Olympic Gold Medalist won.
Rey Mysterio shared a photo of him and Kurt Angle on Instagram and thanked the latter for choosing him as his opponent for the event.

Rey and Kurt's last match against each other in WWE took place on the June 2, 2006, episode of SmackDown. The Olympic Gold Medalist won via countout.
