WWE often attracts a lot of famous personalities to their arenas to enjoy the sheer joy of attending a pro wrestling event. Interestingly, the June 28, 2024, show of the Stamford-based promotion in Madison Square Garden was graced by the presence of a 44-year-old Hollywood music giant.

The brains behind several great musicals, songs, and films, Lin-Manuel Miranda was seen among the crowd of today’s show in New York. The camera panned to him just when the commentators Corey Graves and Wade Barrett were talking about making a musical.

Lin-Manuel has made multiple great Broadway musicals including Hamilton and In the Heights. Notably, he also worked on Moana, the animated film where Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson voiced the character of Maui.

The five-time Grammy Award recipient pleasantly surprised several fans with his presence. Interestingly, while the sold-out venue of MSG with 19,701 fans got to see Miranda, it also saw the presence of two more great stars. These two stars completely blended with the high-voltage drama of pro wrestling to showcase a great segment.

When NBA stars plunged into the world of WWE

Sportspersons from across the USA frequently make it a point to catch WWE live shows when the promotion visits their respective cities. Following suit, New York Knicks’ Jalen Brunson was also in attendance for today’s show. But, things took a wild turn when Logan Paul brought along with him Indiana Pacers' star Tyrese Haliburton.

The Pacers and The Knicks are big-time rivals. Both NBA stars engaged in a couple of heated staredowns before almost coming to blows. Haliburton was about to jump LA Knight with Logan Paul with brass knuckles after The Megastar secured a win in the MITB qualifier match. But, their plans were foiled when Brunson stood in Knight’s corner with a steel chair. Eventually, the US Champ and Haliburton left the ring without risking a fight.

It would be interesting to see WWE come up with more such segments and attract great artists like Lin-Manuel Miranda in the future as well.
