A WWE SmackDown Superstar who has been out of in-ring action for quite some time has shared a bold message on social media. The veteran is gearing up for a return to the ring and is eyeing a title victory in the coming days.
The name in question is Bobby Lashley. He was set to compete against The Bloodline's Tama Tonga in the first round of the 2024 King of the Ring Tournament on Friday Night SmackDown. However, The All Mighty suffered an injury during training and was forced to withdraw from the competition. He was ultimately replaced by Angelo Dawkins in the contest.
Today, the 47-year-old took to Instagram to issue a bold statement. He also hinted at winning a championship after recovering from his injury.
"Domination is for champions, competition is for everyone else. #TitleChasing #gettingready," Lashley wrote.

Triple H refused to reunite Bobby Lashley's former WWE faction, says veteran
The All Mighty was part of a major faction named The Hurt Business alongside MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander. However, following a two-year run, the group was disbanded in 2022.
Fans wanted to see The Hurt Business reunite, but the group didn't have a second run in WWE. Shelton Benjamin was released from the global juggernaut in September 2023. Hence, the pro wrestling world has seemingly lost hope of seeing the faction together again.
Responding to fans' messages on Instagram, MVP revealed that the Triple H-led creative team seemingly turned down the idea of reuniting The Hurt Business.
As of now, Lashley is the leader of The Pride, a faction comprising The Street Profits and B-Fab. Since the 47-year-old star has hinted at his massive comeback, current champions on SmackDown like Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul need to watch their backs.
It remains to be seen whether Bobby Lashley will challenge The American Nightmare for the Undisputed WWE Championship or Paul for the United States Title upon his imminent in-ring return.
