It's not uncommon for forgotten faces to return for another WWE match, and in recent times, Trish Stratus has dropped multiple hints about a comeback. Bill Apter believes the Hall of Famer would return to wrestle again.
Trish Stratus has not competed since Payback 2023, where she lost in a brutal Steel Cage match against Becky Lynch.
Stratus, however, has been involved with World Wrestling Entertainment since then, having attended Money in the Bank 2024 as a special guest. At the time, Trish Stratus revealed in an interview that she had an unfinished story and teased having one more match.
While discussing the possibility on The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter noted that Trish Stratus has regularly appeared at wrestling conventions recently and is still as passionate about the business.

Apter was confident of seeing Stratus back in the ring and felt she was still capable enough to have a memorable match in her late 40s:
"Trish has been appearing at conventions all over the world. She has got that; she has never really lost that fire, and I think she wants to finish that story with one more match against one of the top ladies in WWE. It's going to happen because, have you seen her social media? She looks incredible." [From 11:03 onwards]
Who could Trish Stratus work with after a possible WWE return?
Her last WWE run revolved around an unlikely heel turn as Trish Stratus feuded with Becky Lynch. Trish Stratus, however, also spent her time as Zoey Stark's on-screen mentor.
The alliance worked well for Stratus as Stark's strength came to the veteran star's aid on many occasions. The partnership, though, predictably ended at Payback as Zoey turned on Stratus after the latter's loss to Lynch.
While Trish Stratus might have several other first-time-ever matches in the WWE, from a storyline standpoint, working with Zoey Stark seems like the logical move.
Stratus herself hinted at returning to complete the angle with Stark in a recent interview, which could be one of her matches in another extended stint on TV if she decides to go down that path.
