A WWE veteran has shared his thoughts on an inappropriate segment that he was a part of back in the day. The veteran in question is Shelton Benjamin.
Shelton Benjamin was released by World Wrestling Entertainment in September last year, along with several other talents. He has been active on the independent scene since his release.
Shelton Benjamin recently noticed a throwback video featuring himself and another veteran, Yoshi Tatsu.

The video highlighted Tatsu's WWE debut against Benjamin and the latter could be seen doing a mock Japanese impersonation. The former Intercontinental Champion responded to the tweet with the following message:
"If I could erase one thing in my career, this is it. I’m completely and utterly disgusted by this racist sh*t. I’m glad the ending was my character getting kicked in the head and losing. #racismsucks."

Shelton Benjamin talks plans following WWE release
Benjamin is one of the most respected veterans of the squared circle. He was brought up to the main roster in the spring of 2002 and was a part of the same OVW class as Brock Lesnar, Batista, John Cena, and Randy Orton.
A few months after his release, Benjamin sat down with Simon Miller of WhatCulture Wrestling and had the following to say about his future:
"My immediate plan is just to coast a bit and see what's out there, see what life has to offer," Benjamin said. "Because for seven years, I was with WWE, and... I had a ten-year run with them before that. So for now, I'm not in any rush. I'm keeping my options open. I can't say anybody's any more of a front-runner than anything, but I definitely want to come back to the UK. As a matter of fact, I'm going to be going back to Australia, where I'm going to be involved in an event out there." [H/T - WrestlingInc]
Benjamin has previously stated that he isn't ruling out a return to the global wrestling giant. Fans would love to see him have one final run in the promotion before he calls it quits.
