At the center of Paul Heyman's promo was him running down the four other competitors Brock Lesnar faced at Day 1. Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley faced off later to earn a match at Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble.
Heyman first went after Owens and Rollins, noting that he had to lump them together as they are "a team," saying that the two "figured out to be jackals and go after the lions" during the WWE championship match on Day 1.

Seth Rollins also got the brunt of Paul Heyman's attacks, as the Advocate went after his "visionary" character. The latter even suggested that RAW Women's Champion would leave him unless he could beat Brock Lesnar.
“[Rolllins] too stupid to realize is not visionary, because if had a vision for the future he would realize that his wife is going to leave him if he doesn’t beat brock lesnar for the WWE title,” said Paul Heyman.
Paul Heyman quickly followed up, saying that Becky Lynch wouldn't leave her husband Seth Rollins for Kevin Owens because he couldn't beat Brock Lesnar either. The duo is yet to respond to Heyman's claims.
