Sheamus vs. Xavier Woods should be a fun feud

Xavier Woods is quite possibly one of the most underrated singles Superstar's in WWE and him challenging Sheamus for the United States Championship could result in an instant classic between the two.

WrestleMania 37 didn't exactly turn out the way The New Day was hoping for. On Night 1, the duo of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods lost the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships to AJ Styles and Omos. The following night, Big E dropped the WWE Intercontinental Title to Apollo.

Once The New Day is done dealing with Style and Omos, Woods could aim for a short singles run on the red brand. Woods' run could lead to him challenging Sheamus for the WWE US Championship and given that the former has already proved his worth as a singles star, a title match between the two men should be incredibly fun.

If WWE is aiming to give Sheamus a proper run with the United States Title, a feud against Xavier Woods should not harm The Celtic Warrior.
