WWE made history with their move to Netflix and RAW's debut on the global streaming platform showing record-breaking viewership numbers worldwide. The show featured the return of numerous names including The Rock, John Cena, and The Undertaker.
Apart from the return of the legends, the episode also marked the massive return of the very popular Pat McAfee, who teamed up with Michael Cole behind the commentary desk to witness history. Moving forward, the duo will replace Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore on commentary. Both Barrett and Tessitore will now take up the desk on SmackDown.
Seemingly excited, in a recent post on Instagram, the former five-time Intercontinental Champion broke his silence on the move to the blue brand alongside his broadcast colleague, Joe Tessitore. Their entertaining work on the microphone has kept the fans engaged on RAW over the past few months, and the same is expected from them on SmackDown as well.
"The boys in blue have moved in on @WWE #SmackDown! @joetess," wrote Wade Barrett.

Triple H made a major announcement for WWE SmackDown recently
For the past couple of weeks, WWE SmackDown has been featured as a three-hour program.
The blue brand's massive change was addressed by Triple H during the Pat McAfee Show recently. The Game stated that this was the case only for a while, and then SmackDown would move back to its original two-hour format in the future.
"For right now, and then it switches back to two [hours]," Triple H said.
Since the massive change to SmackDown, a lot more storylines and matches are being featured on the show, giving the opportunity for young talents to showcase their abilities. This can eventually open the doors for NXT stars to move to the main roster and make a name for themselves. Fans will have to wait and see when the blue brand moves back to its original two-hour time format.
