58-year-old WWE legend sends a message after huge announcement by Michael Cole; returning after years

A huge WWE legend is returning to RAW next week, as has been announced by Michael Cole. The legend has now responded.

During WWE RAW, Michael Cole had a surprise announcement for the show. He revealed that John Bradshaw Layfield aka JBL would be on RAW on Netflix next week. The star has not been part of the company's active roster for a long time, and while it's not clear what exactly he will be doing there, fans remain curious. The last time he was there, he was helping manage Baron Corbin, but those plans fell through.

JBL responded to the announcement by Michael Cole, saying that he was both honored and happy to be going to RAW and to be appearing in Texas. He said that he would be packing a clothesline for the trip too.

"Honored and happy to be headed home to Texas and to @wwe Raw. I will pack a clothesline for the trip."

JBL has been very active over the last year. He has been taking stem cell treatment and has shown up in multiple indie events, clotheslining different stars to show that he means business. With several Clotheslines From Hell delivered, the star has shown that he can still do it in the ring even at his age.

For the moment, fans will have to wait and see what happens when he returns on RAW next week.
