The Undertaker is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. However, The Deadman suffered his fair share of injuries in the squared circle during his decorated career. Recently, The Phenom recalled an instance when he was injured multiple times during a match against WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
In a recent appearance on Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson's MightyCast podcast, the WWE legend recalled breaking his orbital bone twice in his career. The first one was against Mabel (FKA Viscera) in August 1995.
The second incident was a weird one since the six-foot-ten-inch star suffered a concussion, a broken nose, and a broken orbital bone during a match against a five-foot-six-inch tall Rey Mysterio.
The match took place on the May 28, 2010, episode of WWE SmackDown. The Deadman was later supposed to compete in a Fatal Four-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship against Jack Swagger, Big Show, and CM Punk, but was later replaced by The Master of 619.

"I actually had a match with Rey Mysterio, one of the smaller guys, and he went to do a [Seated Senton] where he jumps off and, like, his legs go this way, and his a** is supposed to hit on your chest, and it drives you down. Well, his a** hit me right between the eyes. So that one blew out the other, broke my nose, and concussed me. So yeah, that was fun!'' he recalled.
The former World Heavyweight Champion added:
''There were three Rey Mysterios running around; like, it's got to be the one in the middle. It's funny watching that one back, especially with my kids, because I set my nose back right there. I was sitting there, and I was like, 'Oh, crap. My nose is broke,' so I squeezed it back straight." [50:12-51:01]
The Undertaker's last WWE appearance was at WrestleMania XL
The Undertaker retired from pro wrestling in 2020 but has made sporadic appearances over the years. His latest appearance on WWE TV was at WrestleMania XL, where he took out The Rock with a Chokeslam, helping Cody Rhodes finish his story.
During the same conversation, The Undertaker recalled the sequence of events that led to his appearance at The Showcase of The Immortals.
"I think it must've been late Tuesday night. I got a call from Triple H, and he goes, 'Hey, we're thinking about this thing. There's nothing set in stone yet.' It was really vague. I said, 'If there's something that I can do that will not distract from what you're trying to do, and everybody's on board with it. I'm there, and I'll be happy to do whatever,'" Taker said.
