WWE SmackDown saw a star get hit with a steel chair, and it had almost no effect on him. The 6'8" star was ambushed backstage.

Braun Strowman was not having fun this week on the blue brand. The star was in a match against Carmelo Hayes after he arrived on SmackDown. He was ready to squash Hayes again after the win against him last week, but it was not to be. After destroying him outside the ring, he threw Hayes in, but it was too late to get in, so he got counted out.

The star was furious and chased Carmelo Hayes backstage on SmackDown. However, it was not to be. He got caught in an attack from behind, with Hayes taking him out with a chair. He went down but didn't stay down for long.

He immediately got up, no-selling the shot, and then walked away. He went directly in the direction Hayes had gone herself. The WWE stars are clearly in a feud now, with both having unfinished business with the other.

It remains to be seen what happens with Braun Strowman, given his anger after Waller.
