While many close associates of Vince McMahon have left WWE over the past several months, one of his closest ones remains in a top executive position inside the Stamford-based company. Ex-head writer Vince Russo recently claimed that person is the former chairman's "informant" inside the promotion.

While Triple H succeeded McMahon as head of creative, the former chairman's close associate Bruce Prichard is currently WWE's Executive Director - CWT. The 61-year-old is currently in his third WWE stint. During an interview with the Wrestling with the Devil podcast, Russo addressed Prichard's presence in the Stamford-based company following McMahon's departure.

The 63-year-old former head writer claimed Prichard still had a job in WWE just because he was Vince McMahon's "informant" inside the company.

"Here's the part that puzzles me. With Vince no longer a part of that company, would you not have thought loyal soldier Bruce Prichard would have been the first one to say, 'You know, Endeavor, I don't wanna have anything to do with your company. I am a Vince McMahon guy. That's why there's a part of me like for Bruce to not do that and to still have a job there is the reason he still has a job there is because to this day he is Vince's informant and still letting Vince know everything that's going on in that company," Russo said. Ex-WWE employee thinks Bruce Prichard could replace Triple H

On an episode of the Behind The Turnbuckle podcast, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci discussed potential candidates to replace Chief Content Officer Triple H if The Game left the Stamford-based company.

Carlucci, who spent over 30 years in the promotion, claimed Bruce Prichard could be the one to take over the creative team.

"I would say Bruce Prichard. Now, if you're talking about a TKO guy, I don't know. I would think Bruce because Bruce had TV production behind him. He knows all the boys, he negotiates contracts I'm sure. I think he's probably Triple H's right-hand man. If Triple H stepped down, no doubt in my mind Nick Khan would appoint Bruce Prichard," he said.

Wrestling veteran and Carlucci's co-host, Jonathan Coachman, agreed that Prichard could be Triple H's successor.
