A former WWE Superstar has won his first title following his departure from the global wrestling giant. The star in question is none other than Dijak.
On June 27, Dijak revealed on X/Twitter that the promotion had decided against renewing his contract. Many fans were unhappy over his exit, as he had been one of the most entertaining acts on WWE TV for quite some time.
Dijak has now won the Ryse Grand Championship. The news was shared by Ryse Wrestling's official Twitter handle. Check out the tweet below.

Dijak's honest thoughts on WWE releases
Shortly after his exit, Dijak spoke with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful and opened up about various topics. He talked about wrestlers finding out about their release from media outlets in the past and called it a horrific business practice.
Check out an excerpt from his comment below:
"It’s one of the most horrific business practices I’ve ever witnessed. I haven’t been in a lot of businesses. I will be outspoken about this until it gets fixed. That’s not how it should be done. They need to figure out a way to contact everybody, all at once, and let everybody know all at once that this is happening. We should not be put through this thing where you see one name come out, ‘Oh, Mustafa Ali has been released,’ and we all go, ‘Okay, I know he asked.’ I texted him, ‘Hey man, I’m sorry.’ He texted me back, ‘Yup, I think there is more coming.’ Even though I’m at a decent spot at that time in NXT, they can fire anyone."
Many fans bashed Triple H for not re-signing Dijak and letting him go. The 37-year-old did incredibly well for himself during his final few months in WWE. His fans can't wait to see him sign with a major promotion in the near future.
