SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis recently introduced WWE's newest title, the Women's United States Championship. Former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci recently claimed a seven-time champion needs to become the inaugural United States Women's Champion.
Bayley has accomplished almost everything in the Stamford-based company since she joined the promotion 12 years ago. The 35-year-old has held several championships, including four Women's Titles on the main roster. She also won the 2019 Women's Money in the Bank and the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble. Carlucci now believes The Role Model could win the recently introduced Women's United States Championship.
Speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle: The War Room, Carlucci claimed the former leader of Damage CTRL needs to carry the new championship:
"I would give it to Bayley. I think she really needs a shot in the arm. She's been in the company a long time. She's starting to grow on me a little more now. I think seeing Bayley carry that title could really help her out," he said. [2:04 - 2:18]
Magnum T.A. also thinks Bayley should win the newest WWE title
On the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, wrestling veteran Magnum T.A. addressed the introduction of the new Women's United States Championship. He claimed that Bayley should be the first to hold it.
The 65-year-old praised The Role Model's in-ring and promo skills, stating that she is a "very, very capable performer":
"Bayley. She's incredible. Well, her interview is so genuine and her timing in the ring is really, I mean, really good. I mean, she's a good heel, good babyface, either way. She's a very, very capable performer," Magnum said.
Recent reports suggested Bayley would take part in a Triple Threat match to kick off the Women's United States Championship tournament tonight on WWE SmackDown. It will be interesting to see if she's able to win the title.
