WWE is looking to close out the year with a bang. Recently, it was revealed a major wrestling veteran signed a new deal with the promotion.
Earlier this month, Jesse Ventura made a surprising appearance ahead of Monday Night RAW under Triple H's regime. Ventura previously had an estranged relationship with the Stamford-based company due to his past issues with Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan.
However, hell froze over as Jesse 'The Body' Ventura signed a Legends deal with the company under the new regime. On Substack, the legendary commentator stated that this is his first deal with the promotion in several years. He previously made sporadic appearances but hasn't been under a contract after his fallout with McMahon and Hogan.
"Hell has frozen over. I'm back in the WWE as a legend. I've gone through negotiation. We've reached an agreement. I feel very good about it. I'm 73 years old now, and my life has now gone full circle. I got my first fame and fortune in the wrestling industry. I went on to do many many other things above and beyond wrestling and outside of wrestling. Now, maybe it's only right that I come back to wrestling in the twilight of my life and finish off what I always was. A pro wrestler," Ventura said. [From 00:13 to 00:59]

Jesse Ventura opens up about his issues with WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan
A few decades ago, Jesse Ventura was one of the most influential personalities in the Stamford-based promotion and wanted to start a union for the rights of the wrestlers.
The Body rallied up several names in the process. However, he was betrayed by Hulk Hogan, who revealed the entire coup to Vince McMahon. This led to a fallout between the two, and Ventura hasn't worked for WWE since the incident.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Ventura stated he wouldn't be able to bury the hatchet with the WWE Hall of Famer as he felt betrayed by the star. The two haven't been on good terms since the incident.
