Arn Anderson has shared an update on the health of a WWE veteran. Fans are aware that Dutch Mantell has been facing health issues for a while now.
In a recent update, Dutch Mantell revealed that his daughter started a GoFundMe for his medical bills as his hospital insurance had reached its limit. He urged wrestling fans to help him and his family if they could.
On the latest edition of the ARN podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson shared a worrying update about Mantell. He said that the veteran's health had "really gotten bad." Check out his full comments below.
"You know, Dutch has always been a very intelligent guy, where the business is concerned. He had a good background to start, you know, in Tennessee, and he's been around, God, forever, probably going on 50 years. I think this bad health thing has really gotten bad. He's been in and out of the hospital. I'm not sure if I can verify this, but (...) his wife had been in the hospital. So, man, they're going through some tough times, and we need to all be praying for him, that's for sure." [H/T: WrestlingInc.]

Dutch Mantell's second WWE run
Mantell worked for World Wrestling Entertainment on two separate occasions. He had a brief stint in the promotion way from 1995 to 1996. His second run lasted about three years between 2013 and 2016. The veteran's return in 2013 saw him become the manager of Jack Swagger (aka Jake Hager).
Mantell also had a brief alliance with the controversial Alberto Del Rio on WWE TV. On May 6, 2016, he was released, thus ending his three-year run with the promotion. The 74-year-old now has a successful podcast named Story Time with Dutch Mantell.
The Sportskeeda Wrestling community sends its best wishes to the Mantell family and prays for his speedy recovery.
