WWE legend Ric Flair recently claimed he could wrestle one more match, despite retiring from in-ring action on July 31, 2022. Amid much speculation about his future, the Hall of Famer has dropped a potential hint that he might be preparing for another bout.

In an interview, the host asked Ric Flair whether he still had one more match left in him, to which the latter responded affirmatively. The Nature Boy is one of the greatest professional wrestlers in history. Flair’s illustrious WWE career concluded in 2008 after he lost to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania. However, he continued to compete outside of the Stamford-based promotion and had an impactful stint in TNA Wrestling.

In 2022, after spending 11 years in retirement, The Nature Boy teamed up with his son-in-law, Andrade, to take on Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett in his final bout. Many fans were concerned about the WWE Hall of Famer's health heading into the contest due to his age. However, he ultimately managed to secure the win.

After mentioning that he could have one more match, the 75-year-old has now shared a video of himself training at the gym on his official Instagram account. The post has led many to believe that Flair might actually compete in one final bout.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is still close to Tony Khan despite secretly leaving AEW

Ric Flair joined AEW to be part of Sting's retirement tour. During his time in the Tony Khan-led promotion, there were teases about him wrestling a match. However, the WWE legend didn't compete inside the squared circle.

On the Five Star podcast, Ric Flair said that despite leaving the Jacksonville-based promotion, he remained close to Tony Khan. Flair even called Khan one of the greatest human beings he had ever met.

"We're very close. I think he's one of the greatest, not just great promoter, I think he's one of the greatest people, human beings I've ever met. He is very caring and genuine guy. He's got more money than God. I bought time on a jet—Tony's got a jet, probably several," Flair said.

It will be interesting to see whether Flair returns to All Elite Wrestling for another storyline.
