Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have made a name for themselves worldwide. They have won championships in every promotion they have competed in. The duo has held nine titles across TNA, Lariato Pro Wrestling, NJPW, and even WWE. However, they have never held the NXT Tag Team Championships.
Recently, The O.C. started appearing on NXT and even attacked the current Tag Team Champions. They made their intentions clear that they wanted to challenge for the titles. However, Nathan Frazer and Axiom have refused to grant them a title match because they are "outsiders." Hence, The O.C. ambushed the champs last week on NXT as well.

Tonight, the tables were turned on The O.C. as they were attacked from behind by Nathan Frazer and Axiom. They then agreed to face Gallows and Anderson for the tag titles. This match has since been made official for NXT Battleground.
Given The O.C.'s vast experience, Nathan Frazer and Axiom will face the toughest challenge at NXT Battleground when they defend the NXT Tag Team Championship.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
