The allegations raised against former WWE head Vince McMahon earlier this year have yet to be proven, although many in the wrestling world have already condemned the 79-year-old. According to a particular veteran, one aspect of the allegations is quite believable given McMahon's character.

The upcoming docuseries about Vince McMahon announced by Netflix has caused a stir in the wrestling industry, leading to discussions about the controversial accusations against the WWE founder. A major part of Janel Grant's lawsuit against McMahon concerns his hush money payments made to keep a sexual relationship secret.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, former WWE Head writer Vince Russo commented on the matter. Ruso claimed that while it was certainly possible, he would rather not make a statement until the official verdict came out.

"You don't know, bro, but if you ask me, would Vince have paid hush money to keep his sex life a secret? Yeah, absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt. And he has, he hasn't denied that. He hasn't denied that, bro." [13:07 onwards]

Mark Henry recently recounted his experiences working with the WWE Founder

According to Hall of Famer Mark Henry, it is unjustified to condemn McMahon at this point as all the facts regarding the case have not come to light yet.

Speaking in an interview on Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw, Henry talked about his time working for McMahon and stated that he never saw anything related to the allegations.

“He’s [Vince McMahon] going through a tough time and all of the stuff that happened recently and stuff. I never saw none of that. I never heard no negativity [sic] like that. Him [sic] playing a d**n joke on me was the worst of it, like, you know, where I felt like, 'Okay, that infringed on the business,' but it was nothing remotely bad that I had to say about Vince, and I took some heat for saying that before," he said.

As of now, it remains to be seen how the case regarding the former WWE personality will get resolved in the future.
