This week's episode of SmackDown featured another phenomenal match between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade. Meanwhile, during the latest episode of SmackTalk, Dutch Mantell predicted a third individual would get involved in the angle, eventually leading to Andrade and Hayes being allies.
The rivals faced each other for the fourth time on last night's SmackDown, and Hayes leveled the scores 2-2 after a typically solid match.
While they should ideally have a decider, Dutch Mantell has predicted that another superstar will insert himself in the storyline. Moreover, the 74-year-old envisioned Carmelo and Andrade working together as a team for some time after pushing each other to tremendously high levels inside the ring.
"But I'm thinking, 'How are they going to wrap this up?' So they've got to involve a third individual in it somewhere. I don't know, but now I think they are going to end up being buddies. I think they will go down that road; it's got to be. So, I think [it's] a good way to get both of them over," he said. [45:40-46:00]
Just like his fellow SmackTalk hosts, Dutch Mantell also loved the latest match between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade, as, from an in-ring perspective, he believed it had no mistakes.
Mantell praised the Triple H-led creative team for pairing Andrade and Hayes up for a feud and figuring out their impeccable chemistry inside the squared circle, which has already produced a few "masterpieces."
"Just for the wrestling, [it was] tremendous, because they [WWE] found two guys who mesh together well and have, basically, masterpieces. There are no mistakes in this. So, when you watch them, you see two guys who know what they are doing, and of course, the fans don't know who is going to win. I don't know who is going to win; I have an idea, and fans have their ideas, too," he added. [45:00-45:39]
Hayes and El Idolo surely have another in-ring banger in them before they potentially become allies, as Dutch Mantell hopes.
