Absent WWE Superstar could return after a year, says veteran, to challenge Cody Rhodes if one thing happens

Wrestling veteran Matt Morgan thinks Uncle Howdy could challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, he pointed out that the character must get over first.

Uncle Howdy, portrayed by former NXT Champion Bo Dallas, last appeared on WWE TV in March 2023 as he worked on a storyline with his brother, Bray Wyatt. However, Dallas was taken off TV when his brother went on hiatus before his untimely passing. The 33-year-old is now being teased to return as the leader of The Wyatt 6 faction.

While Morgan has concerns about the faction's ability to translate their supernatural character work into quality matches, he hopes the Uncle Howdy character gets over with the WWE Universe. On his Gigantic Pop podcast, the wrestling veteran claimed that the former RAW Tag Team Champion could then challenge Rhodes:

"[That's eventually gonna happen, right? If the character works.] Let's hope we get there, yeah," he said. [From 14:21 to 14:27]

Will Wyatt 6 debut at WWE King and Queen of the Ring?

As the Stamford-based company continues to drop teases about the debut of The Wyatt 6 stable, many have been wondering when the faction will appear on TV. While some thought they might debut at Backlash France, that did not happen.

WWE Analyst Sam Roberts recently predicted on his Notsam Wrestling podcast that Wyatt 6 could appear at King and Queen of the Ring based on one of the hints dropped by the company:

"The most interesting part of all of this is that one of the audio files is called is called VXXV.mp3 or whatever it is. VXXV are obviously Roman numerals, and that means 5-25. V is five, XXV is 25. Five-25 is May 25th. May 25th is the date of the King and Queen of the Ring pay-per-view. So, while we didn't get Uncle Howdy at Backlash, I've got to believe that we're getting something at the King and Queen of the Ring. And if that's May 25th, this could be our fun summer story," he said.

While Cody Rhodes will square off against Logan Paul at King and Queen of the Ring, it would be interesting to see if Uncle Howdy and Wyatt 6 would target The American Nightmare at the premium live event.
