WWE is preparing for Bash in Berlin. The company had a hectic week with crews in the United States for RAW and in Europe for the Road to Bash in Berlin live events tour, plus tonight's SmackDown and tomorrow's PLE. Several major names make things work behind the scenes, as one former World Champion just reminded fans of.
Robert Roode had been wrestling for 18 years when he joined WWE in 2016. The former United States Champion underwent neck fusion surgery in September 2022 and May 2023, then began working as a WWE Producer around SummerSlam 2023. Roode revealed earlier this year that he was medically cleared to compete but essentially forced to retire as he was unable to make a full-time in-ring return.
The It-Factor of Professional Wrestling has been producing RAW, SmackDown, Main Event, and PLE matches for just over one year. He took to his Instagram Stories today to give the WWE Universe a rare glimpse at the Uber Arena before it fills up with fans for tonight's SmackDown and for Saturday's Bash in Berlin.

SmackDown producers for this week have not been revealed as of now, but last week's episode saw Roode team with Michael "PS" Hayes. They produced The Grayson Waller Effect with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, plus the tag team bout that saw KO and Cody defeat A-Town Down Under. Roode produced Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed on Monday's RAW.
WWE Bash in Berlin potential main event
Randy Orton vs. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is rumored to headline Bash in Berlin on Saturday. Per the stipulation, Orton will be transferred to the RAW roster if he wins, while Gunther will be sent to the SmackDown roster.
In addition to The Ring General's first title defense, World Wrestling Entertainment has just four more matches announced for Saturday's PLE. Below is the current lineup:
- The Terror Twins (Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley) vs. The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan)
- Strap Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
- Women's Tag Team Championship: Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre (c) vs. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair
- Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens
- World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Randy Orton
Bash in Berlin will air live from the Uber Arena in the German capital, beginning at 1 p.m. ET on Peacock. The Countdown to Bash in Berlin pre-show is set to begin at 11 a.m. ET on Peacock and all of the company's social media channels.
