WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has shared a social media update following the wrestling promotion making a huge announcement. The Stamford-based company unveiled the details regarding a major event set for next month.

Earlier this year, WWE announced the return of Saturday Night's Main Event. The show is set to air live from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Uniondale, New York. Four championship matches have already been announced for the show.

While Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Ovens, Finn Balor is set to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Elsewhere on the card, Liv Morgan will face IYO SKY with the Judgment Day member's Women's World Championship on the line. The inaugural Women's United States Champion will also be crowned at the show.

With the event ten days away, the global juggernaut has already announced another Saturday Night's Main Event primetime special. The show will air from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, on January 25, 2025. Adam Pearce recently took to Instagram Stories to share the announcement with his followers alongside a three-word message.

Adam Pearce shares insight about a WWE General Manager's role

Adam Pearce has been the RAW General Manager since October 2023. During his appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, he opened up about the role of a WWE General Manager. The 46-year-old claimed that an authority figure's role is to play a supporting character, while the main focus is always on the in-ring performers.

"This position [of a General manager], okay, it's a supporting character on a television show that, by definition, isn't there to overshadow or step on the superstars. They are the beacons that we want the eyes focused on. But the General Manager or the WWE Official that I played for years before that, that's an informational conduit to what you just said, to make sure that everybody understands the context to what is happening with these larger-than-life characters that are on their screens every Monday and every Friday. And sometimes they're the focus of the direction of the story, [and] sometimes the GM is there to change the direction of the story but the story is always about the superstar," he said.

Adam Pearce has recently been busy dealing with multiple backstage brawls and attacks. It will be interesting to see how the RAW General Manager deals with Drew McIntyre, who took out Sami Zayn and potentially Jey Uso on his return.
