WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce shared an interesting message today on social media. The veteran recently reinstated Drew McIntyre from suspension so that he could battle CM Punk in a singles match at SummerSlam.
Pearce also appointed former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins as the Special Guest Referee in the match this Saturday night. Ahead of the premium live event, the RAW General Manager took to social media to share a cryptic update.
He posted a GIF of David Caruso from the classic show CSI: Miami putting on his sunglasses, seemingly hinting that he could have something planned for this weekend.
Drew McIntyre refused to apologize to the referees he put his hands on at Money in the Bank after CM Punk ruined his cash-in attempt. Seth Rollins warned both Punk and McIntyre during last night's edition of the red brand that the only rule in the match is that they will have to listen to what he says.
Ex-WWE writer criticizes RAW storyline after star shows up in Adam Pearce's office
Vince Russo has taken the company to task for dragging out storylines on WWE television.
Bo Dallas showed up in Adam Pearce's office on a recent edition of RAW but fans were never shown the conversation between the two stars. The Wyatt Sicks debuted on RAW last month and have been targeting Chad Gable. The group will be competing in a Six-Man Tag Team match next Monday night against Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers.
Speaking on a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Vince Russo criticized the company for dragging out their storylines after Bo Dallas was shown in Adam Pearce's office.
"A lot of packages in this show, a lot of packages... Uneventful, I mean Rhea Ripley returns at the end. Okay. We've got three weeks of Bo videos now. He's in the office and we don't follow that up. Oh my god! You talk about crawling with this story, man," the WWE veteran said. [From 2:00 onwards]
