WWE Superstar Randy Orton delivered an unprovoked RKO to Adam Pearce at Crown Jewel. The RAW General Manager was attacked by The Viper when he tried to calm down his brawl with Kevin Owens. Now, Pearce has issued a statement following the Premium Live Event.

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens faced each other after the latter thought The Apex Predator had betrayed his trust and chosen Cody Rhodes over him. The Prizefighter had also attacked his tag team partner backstage at SmackDown a few weeks ago, prompting Orton to demand a match against him.

However, their match could never officially start or end, with the former allies brawling with each other and getting hostile with anybody who tried to intervene. While KO delivered a Stunner to the match referee, The Viper delivered an RKO to Adam Pearce when he and Nick Aldis tried to stop the fight.

Speaking out on the matter following Crown Jewel, the RAW General Manager added a tweet on X. While he expressed his reaction towards the signature move of Orton, he also criticized SmackDown’s GM, Nick Aldis, and claimed he wasn’t there to control his wrestler.

Randy Orton may get suspended for his actions

The Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens fight almost didn’t make it to the Crown Jewel Match card. WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, was against the two men facing each other. While Orton thought The King of Kings was trying to protect Owens, HHH said that he wanted to protect him instead.

However, while The Game wanted to safeguard the 14-time World Champion from KO, he may now be taking action against him on his own. After all, Pearce is a line not even the rowdiest of wrestlers like CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Bronson Reed have crossed.

The Legend Killer has a notorious reputation for breaking the rules and not falling in line. However, this time, he may face the consequences of attacking the RAW General Manager. It would be interesting to see if Triple H shelves Orton after not wanting to do so ahead of Crown Jewel.
