WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and Ivar recently took to social media to react after a former champion shared a heartbreaking post amid rumors of his exit from the Triple H-led promotion. The name in question is MVP.
The 50-year-old joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2005 and started performing for the company's then-developmental territory, Deep South Wrestling. He quickly jumped ship to the main roster in 2006 and made a huge name in the world of professional wrestling by winning several titles, including the United States Championship. MVP was also a part of The Hurt Business alongside Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander.
According to several reports, MVP and Bobby Lashley are leaving the Stamford-based promotion, as they are allegedly not looking to re-sign their contracts. The duo have also been removed from WWE's internal roster.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes MVP and his former stablemates should not join major promotion
During an edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said that although MVP, Bobby Lashley, and the rest of The Hurt Business would make more money in AEW, they should join TNA, where they would get better opportunities.
"Of course, they could end up in AEW, and of course, they would probably make a whole lot more money. If done right in TNA, the money would still be there for them because they could go out and do other projects. I think it's a win-win situation over there," he said.
It will be interesting to see if MVP and Bobby Lashley reform The Hurt Business after potentially leaving WWE.
