Samantha Irvin has confirmed her WWE departure. On social media, Adam Pearce posted a short message reacting to the 35-year-old's announcement.
In 2021, Irvin signed with WWE after being introduced to the company by Hall of Famer and former World Champion Mark Henry. She initially started at WWE 205 Live before moving to NXT. In 2022, she was promoted to the main roster as part of the SmackDown brand.
On Twitter/X, Pearce reacted to Irvin's announcement by thanking the RAW announcer for her passion and dedication.
"For your passion and dedication: THANK YOU," wrote Pearce.

Speaking on Chris Van Vliet's Insight podcast, Irvin briefly opened up about her conversations with Henry, who played a major role in her signing. She said:
"Yes, he just started tweeting me and was like, 'You should be in wrestling. Have you ever thought of WWE? WWE is calling.' And I was like, I slid in his DMs. I said sir, yes, what can I do? He said you'd have to do like a tryout, like a real physical tryout. That is what he was able to do and I was like, I'm not an athlete, I've never stepped foot in a ring, never played a sport, nothing. But I was like, if that is what I have to do, I'll go there and do it."
Irvin confirmed that her departure isn't marking the "end of her art." Her real-life partner, Ricochet, recently departed WWE to sign with AEW. The former WWE United States Champion has been active in the AEW International Championship picture.
It remains to be seen if Irvin decides to sign with another major wrestling promotion following her WWE departure.
