MJF railed on Garrison on the mic before the AEW match began. He definitely wasn't happy when Garrison reminded him of his loss at AEW Fyter Fest and MJF ended up hitting Garrison with the mic,

MJF then whipped Garrison into the corner before locking in a submission hold. When Garrison tried to reach for the ropes, MJF bit his hand before throwing him out of the ring. MJF followed Garrison out and whipped him into the barricade.

Garrison tried to fight back but he was sent head-first into the ring post. MJF rolled Griff back into the ring and took a mic inside with him, trying to get Garrison to say that he was undefeated. Garrison did utter the words MJF wanted but then he rolled MJF up for a nearfall.

MJF replied with a nasty looking clothesline, taking Garrison off his feet again. He didn't waste any more time playing around and hit Garrison with the Heatseeker before pinning him to continue his undefeated streak with another singles win.
