Chris Jericho and Jake Hager vs Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy
Jungle Boy and Chris Jericho started things off in the main event of AEW Dynamite. Jungle Boy got the better of the opening exchanges before both men made tags. Hager and Luchasaurus collided into each other in the middle of the ring like two unstoppable forces.
Hager soon had Luchasaurus isolated in his corner but not for long. Both men tagged out once again. Jungle Boy came close to pinning Jericho after a roll-up and hit Santana and Ortiz with a suicide dive at ringside.
Jericho planted Jungle Boy face-first into the mat before catching Marko Stunt with a right hand and laying him out.
Back from commercial, Jungle Boy hit a crossbody from the top rope. Jericho soon took back control for his team and even tried to bring his baseball bat into the ring, only to be stopped by the referee.
Jungle Boy tried a roll up but the experienced Chris Jericho was not caught out and managed to kick out. Jericho tagged out and Hager stopped Jungle Boy from tagging out for the time being.
The finish of the match saw Serpentico, who was at ringside, get involved, helping the Inner Circle to pick up the win. Another big win for the Inner Circle in AEW.
