Jade Cargill was mysteriously attacked backstage on WWE SmackDown a few weeks ago. It was later announced that she had suffered multiple injuries. This resulted in her being removed from the Women’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series.
Despite Jade's absence, her tag team partner Bianca Belair led her team to victory inside WarGames. Now, Belair has shifted her focus to uncovering the identity of Cargill’s mystery attacker. However, this quest led to her getting ambushed backstage during the latest episode of SmackDown.
At the time of Cargill's attack, Belair was competing in a Triple Threat match against Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport. Upon learning that Cargill had been taken out, the EST abandoned the match to check on her partner. This allowed Green to capitalize and secure the victory.
On the latest WWE SmackDown, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven confronted Belair backstage. During the exchange, Belair speculated that Niven might have been involved in Cargill's attack, pointing out that Piper was noticeably absent at ringside during Green’s match. Belair suggested Niven might have attacked Cargill to help Green gain an advantage.
Niven denied any involvement in the attack, leading to a heated argument and a backstage brawl. Green and Niven overpowered Belair, laying her out. Niven then challenged her to a one-on-one match later that evening.
It remains to be seen who was Jade Cargill's mystery attacker.
