Ricochet showed WWE fans that resilience and fast-paced action sequences akin to video game characters can be pulled off in real life. The one thing he debatably lacked was a solid character. He was recently moved to WWE's alumni section, and RAW star Dijak has now followed.

The Highlight of the Night decided to bet on himself, letting his contract expire. Ricochet was written off television after being manhandled by rising NXT alumni Bron Breakker on an episode of Monday Night RAW.

Dijak, however, announced that he was leaving the Stamford-based promotion last month after citing creative frustrations. He revealed that despite being slated for a NXT Championship feud on the Tuesday show, the 37-year-old was picked up by RAW as part of the 2024 Draft in April, where he was going nowhere. Furthermore, his tweet also claimed that the company did not offer him a new contract.

The former Retribution member is no longer part of WWE and has been moved to the alumni section.

Before his noteworthy run in NXT, the creative team attempted to push Dijak as the character "T-Bar" in the Retribution stable between the Summer of 2020 and March 2021. Their run did not take off. He then moved to the developmental, where he used part of his real name, which is Christopher James Dijak.

Dijak is optimistic about his wrestling career after his WWE departure

Before leaving WWE, it was reported that Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels—who oversees the NXT roster and its creative aspects—was a big supporter of Dijak, even though they had some difference in opinion regarding Creative. Nevertheless, the latter was well-liked backstage.

Be that as it may, Dijak was not appreciative of how he was booked by the company. Based on his sentiment to another former wrestler signed to the Stamford-based promotion, Mansoor, it appears promises were made that were not kept. With growing displeasure stemming from years of lackluster booking, Dijak ultimately decided to leave.

Dijak's most significant run in the sports entertainment giant happened in NXT, even though he never held the top championship belt of the brand. His run on the Tuesday show lasted between 2022 to 2024, until his draft to Monday Night RAW in April.

There have been rumors swirling online that Dijak will be joining AEW after he seemingly was present backstage at the Forbidden Door III event in Elmont, New York. Despite not appearing on-screen, many are certain that he will be part of the AEW family soon. The 37-year-old also sent a message to AEW President Tony Khan on social media.
