AJ Lee, whose return has been hugely anticipated by WWE fans as we head into the WrestleMania 41 season, is set to make a massive appearance later this year. The former Divas Champion has been officially confirmed as the headlining name for the Big Event EXS in March this year, where she will interact with fans.
Ever since CM Punk made his WWE return in late 2023, fans have been waiting for his wife, AJ Lee, to follow suit and potentially return to the Stamford-based promotion. However, despite many performers publicly calling for her to come back, things haven't panned out yet as Lee is busy with her commitments outside WWE.
Moreover, the 37-year-old has even been referenced on TV several times in recent months, further raising expectations around her return down the line. Amid this, Lee has been announced for the Big Event EXS show in New York on March 15, 2025. She has been confirmed as the headline guest for the autograph event.

Roxanne Perez's dream match would be against AJ Lee in WWE
Last year, in an interview, Roxanne Perez shared her lifelong dream of getting into the squared circle with the former Divas Champion if the latter was to ever return to wrestling. The former NXT Women's Champion went as far as to say that she wouldn't hang up her boots until she gets to wrestle Lee in WWE.
"It's going, we're trying you know. Hopefully, one day, she'll come back and maybe we can all do something together. That would be, that would be like my dream. I can't retire until I have a match against AJ Lee. So you know, I can't be 80 years old wrestling either, so," Roxanne Perez said.
Only time will tell if AJ Lee ever changes her mind and re-joins her husband in WWE as she would be welcomed with open arms by her legion of fans. Away from wrestling, Lee has made several strides in her thriving writing career.
