AJ Lee sends 2-word message after Bayley shares rare personal update following WWE SmackDown

Former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee recently took to social media to send a two-word message to Bayley after the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The Role Model shared a rare personal update in her social media post.

Bayley is one of the greatest names to ever step inside the squared circle. She has been signed with World Wrestling Entertainment since 2012 and has won multiple titles, including the WWE Women's Championship and the Women's Tag Team Championship. The Role Model was recently looking to add some more gold to her name as she participated in the Women's United States Championship tournament but failed to qualify for the finals after losing to Chelsea Green.

Meanwhile, the SmackDown star recently took to Instagram to share her rare personal update. In her post, The Role Model revealed that with the help of several people, she was able to donate over 1000 gifts to the foster youth.

This post caught AJ Lee's attention and she left a two-word comment on it. The former Divas Champion called her real-life friend an angel.

"Literal angel," AJ Lee commented.

Bill Apter talked about AJ Lee's potential return to WWE

Since CM Punk's return to WWE in 2023, many people have been expecting his wife, AJ Lee, to return as well. During an edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter highlighted how fans have been wanting to see Lee back on WWE TV.

Apter also mentioned that he believed if the Triple H-led creative team has a good angle for the former Divas Champion then she might return to the Stamford-based promotion.

"I think the fans are dying for her (AJ Lee) to come back. She was great when she was in the business. We don't know what she'll—if she comes back she's got to be physically and mentally ready and I don't know her current situation or anything, I haven't been in touch with her. I've talked to Punk but I think if they make a good offer and there's a great angle, that will bring her back in," Bill Apter said.

It remains to be seen if AJ Lee has any plans to return to the ring once again in the future.
