WWE Superstar AJ Styles recently shared a cryptic message on social media. The Phenomenal One has been absent from television for over two months due to injury.
The former WWE Champion suffered a Lisfranc injury while competing with fellow SmackDown Superstar Carmelo Hayes on the October 4 edition of the show. The devastating injury forced the official to stop the match and declare the former NXT Champion the winner. The 47-year-old hasn't appeared on WWE television since.
In addition to being one of the best in-ring performers on the roster, AJ Styles is known for his love for gaming. The veteran has been part of several episodes of WWE UpUpDownDown, playing multiple games. Styles has often been guilty of raging and throwing his controller after losing to a fellow superstar. However, he recently shared an update on Instagram, seemingly referring to those moments.
"I can’t believe someone would rage quit," he wrote.

Former WWE Superstar claims he would love to wrestle AJ Styles in a unique stipulation match
Former WWE Superstar AJ Francis (FKA Top Dolla) recently expressed his desire to compete with The Phenomenal One. The 34-year-old was released from his contract with the global juggernaut promotion in September last year and is currently signed to TNA Wrestling.
During his appearance on Wrestleholics, the interviewer, DC Hendrix, asked Francis to name the star he would want to work with if he returned to WWE.
After talking about several other performers, the former Hit Row member stated he would love to square off against Styles for the right to be called AJ:
"So there’s a lot of things that could be really cool when I go back. I would love to fight AJ Styles for the right to be named AJ. I would love that. There’s a million things that I could do, but at the end of the day, until they make the call," he said. [From 26:28 to 26:46]
