Alexa Bliss drops major return tease ahead of WWE SmackDown

Alexa Bliss dropped a major return tease ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown. Tonight's episode of the blue brand will air live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Little Miss Bliss has not been seen on WWE television since her loss to Bianca Belair at Royal Rumble 2023. She and her husband, popular musician Ryan Cabrera, welcomed a daughter to their family in November 2023.

There have been recent reports that Bliss could be returning to action soon, and the veteran dropped a major return tease ahead of tonight's episode of SmackDown. She shared an image of herself waving with the Lilly doll, and you can check out her cryptic Instagram post below.

Bliss was once aligned with Bray Wyatt, but she betrayed The Eater of Worlds at WrestleMania 37 in his match against Randy Orton. Bray Wyatt tragically passed away in August 2023, and Bliss shared a heartfelt tribute to him.

Former WWE writer does not want Alexa Bliss to join Wyatt Sicks

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently stated that he does not want Alexa Bliss to join The Wyatt Sicks upon her return to WWE television.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show last year, the veteran shared his thoughts on the former champion potentially joining Uncle Howdy's faction. Russo suggested that Bliss was far more valuable to the company as a singles star.

"I hope not bro, because what would you do with her in the Wyatt Sicks. I mean you got Nikki Cross in there, you got a female in there already. What do you do with her in the Wyatt Sicks. (...) We constantly talk about lack of females being over. You know Alexa Bliss was over to some extent, and I think she is far more valuable to the roster as Bliss. I think if you put her in there, I think you are just gonna really muddy it more than it already is and make it much much more difficult." [7:55 onwards]
